Boogie Shoes with Bling

Out in my studio and see jewelry bling in a small dish…. Thinking “what were these for?”

Boogie Shoes

The inside of this pair was a challenge to grout. I asked myself “what was thinking?” …. All these circles hand-cut with nippers.

Mickey Bars

Fused glass ornaments verses sun catchers made for my upcoming Disney Cruise.

A Pair of Pumps

First in a series of footwear. Difficult to grout. Real shoes covered with multiple layers of rigid wrap. Have been on my shelf for years.

More Bricks

Ended up being too lightweight.

Patio Bricks

Made initially to hold down my outdoor rugs on the pool deck.

All Lit Up

Still awaiting candles for elongated glass vessels. 2 pics of frameless candles from different angles.

Candleholder Verses Vase

Unsure as to the purpose of these glass vessels. Process: paint glass with Wellbond; apply tac fused glass scraps to vessel using Glass Glue from Marvelous Fine Mosaic; dry; apply 50/50 Wellbond and Water wash; dry; grout; clean. Easy Peasy.

HATS…… WIP

Another Experiment…… what I have learned is to be patient and not pick my first color choice.

Flower Garden

A challenge of my patience. Finally complete. Old window I had in my attic for years. Glass on glass mosaics are a newish endeavor for me. The brown glass at the bottom are rolled glass ends of Kokomo glass.

WIP

Evolving piece. Looking at Gray scale.

RepurPosed Glass Frame

I purchased this frame at our Church’s jumble sale. Finally put it to good use. Experimented with g to be ends of rolled sheet glass I purchased at Warner’s. A bit different but I love the circles! Stained glass, dots and fused glass.

Atop a Mirror

Purchased this mirror at Joann’s. Must stain the wood and clean up a bit but turned out rather nicely.

Pair of a Tree is a Tree

I made these two panels from leftover MDF board. About 26” long and 10” wide in December 2023. So very difficult to photograph as it is framed with mirror. Will attempt to retake in natural light once the weather warms up.

Merry Christmas

2 little snowmen a pair, duo, twins? 6 inch square dishes. Playing with the kiln.
